Danming An, Ph.D.
Biography
Danming An, a former postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Kochanska’s Child Lab, is currently an assistant professor at Lehigh University. You can learn about her research here. She received her Ph.D. in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University in 2019. Her research interests include examining the effects of context (e.g., culture, parenting, family dynamics, peer relationships) and early temperament on children’s socio-emotional development and mental health, as well as investigating the implications of informant discrepancies and situational variations in the measurement of children’s social and psychological adjustment. In her spare time, Danming enjoys reading science fiction, swimming, and trying new recipes.
