Lea Boldt

Biography

Lea Boldt received her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 2020. She completed her internship and post-doc within the University of Iowa's Department of Psychiatry, and has now joined their team as a clinical faculty member. Lea’s research interests include examining trajectories of children’s social and emotional development in the context of the parent-child relationship and the etiology and time course of both parent and child psychopathology. Clinically, Lea is interested in the assessment of and interventions for neurodevelopmental disorders (particularly, autism spectrum disorder), as well as challenging and disruptive behaviors. In her spare time, Lea walks with her dog, eats lots of food, and cheers for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
