Neevetha Sivagurunathan is currently a full-time Research Assistant in Dr. Kochanska's Child Lab. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Iowa in May of 2018, with Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Statistics, a certificate in Large Data Analysis, and a minor in Computer Science. She is interested in the effects of parental responsiveness and control on child development. Neevetha is a crisis chat volunteer at CommUnity (formerly the Crisis Center) and a Big Sister of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson Country. In her free time, Neevetha enjoys reading, kickboxing, traveling, and attending Name That Tune trivia.
