Sanghag Kim received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Iowa in 2011. He is currently a professor in the Department of Sociology at Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea, and a research associate in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa. He usually visits Iowa City twice a year, in January and July, to continue his collaboration with Dr. Grazyna Kochanska and the Child Lab. His areas of interest include social psychology, human development and socialization, and quantitative methods. In his spare time, Sanghag enjoys playing tennis and listening to music.
